Health Programs
ILF brings access to healthcare, from regular screenings, to providing vitamin supplementation, and taking on the financial burden for surgeries; so that people in underprivileged communities can have better access to healthcare and enjoy a better quality of life

Improving Healthcare Access
Improving Healthcare: Rapid Response Revolution
To address the overwhelming patient volume at primary health centers (PHCs), ILF has introduced advanced rapid testing devices designed to transform healthcare delivery. These state-of-the-art devices offer highly accurate results across a broad range of tests, all while being user-friendly.
By streamlining the testing process, these devices significantly reduce the time doctors and staff spend on test administration, allowing them to focus on patient care and diagnosis. This efficiency not only alleviates the strain on healthcare professionals but also enhances patient experience with quicker results and more timely interventions.
The deployment of these devices is set to revolutionize primary healthcare by improving service delivery, optimizing resource use, and ensuring more effective and timely medical responses, ultimately leading to better health outcomes and a more responsive healthcare system.

The programme reaches out to underserved communities, needing comprehensive eye care services at their doorstep, through a well-trained team of field staff, doctors and paramedics.
Through this program, ILF provided free screenings to 2,385 patients in four states and performed surgeries to prevent and reverse blindness.

Improving Sanitation
Improving Sanitation: Building Toilets for Water Sanitation and Hygiene
In rural India, almost half of all households practice open defecation, and there are often no functional toilets in the local schools or nurseries.
Our initiative focused on educating the community about the importance of sanitation and encouraging the use of toilets. We completed the construction of Anganwadi toilets and, through intensive efforts and local government support, successfully declared several regions open defecation free.

Improving Nutrition
Improving Nutrition: Vitamin Supplementation
Vitamin A deficiency (VAD) is a significant public health concern among malnourished children in many low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), including India. ILF addresses the nutritional needs of vulnerable children under-five by providing access to vitamin A and deworming supplementation across six states in India, and contributing to sustainable achievements in child survival, growth, and development.
